It's seeming less and less like Apple is paying attention to these feedback requests to end this headache.

So, I'm curious, is anyone aware of other ways to conquer this issue? Personally, I'm starting to keep my ear to the ground for an alternate mail client. I'm sure there are several others in this sub that have to worry about sending colleagues and clients certain file types because of how Mail actually attaches them. I did find this, but I'd like more time to test it than just under 3 hours. It seems Attachment Tamer is several versions behind, and Universal Mailer just didn't work for me. The terminal commands have done jack all for me. I know several have suggested terminal commands (I think many of them are confused, as they are suggesting the fix for Inline Viewing,) Attachment Tamer (seems dead in the water right now,) and I've tried Universal Mailer. I was wondering if any long term solutions have been found yet for Mail's insistence on sending attachments (usually JPGs, for me) as inline attachments, regardless of settings? We want to know any option in mac outlook to copy attachment file. There is paste brush like in MS Office, is it any option available in Mac. I'm able to work around this by just sending the pix from the web-based version of Gmail, but I'd rather use Mail - just because. Sending file with mac mail its shows like picture. With that installed, you had the option to choose the size of an attachment displayed in the window, but only if it's a one-page attachment. This problem just appeared several months ago before that, everything was just dandy. It's never been a menu bar item it's always been in the New Message window, at least when you use Mail Attachment Iconizer (what's now known as Attachment-Tamer). I use plain-text emails and "Windows-friendly attachments." When I draft an email in Mail, and attach JPEGs (exported to my desktop from Aperture), they look fine in my email, no matter whether I view them as fully embedded in the email or as icons.įor my Windows-using friends, the attachments come out on their end as very small, flattened, squished, distorted, and unviewable pictures. I use Mail (2010 MacBook Pro, Lion, Aperture 3.2).

I haven't been able to find a working solution to this. I don't mean to hijack this thread, but Marco Hyman and others seem like real experts, and I'd like to tap into that expertise with a fairly simple question.
